There are of course a plethora of tools and computing environments we work with every day. They range from project management tools, graphic design packages over source management to web authoring tools and database management applications. We use the most recent versions of the best applications for the job. We continue to monitor the market to optimize the selection of software tools we use to make our work more productive and increase the quality of the result even further.

However, we favor Open Source software whenever there is a choice. This gives us the assurance that the software is stable and well supported and our customer appreciate the economic license and maintenance fees.

So for many of our projects we use computing environments based on Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP, Java, and various free or inexpensive CGI components.
